Have you considered how beautiful that an all-white bridal bouquet can look? The natural assumption is that if your gown is white, then your bouquet should be full of color. Many brides will combine her wedding colors into her bouquet. I have never seen an ugly bouquet or ugly bride but check out these all white bouquets and see if one will be what you are looking for in your special day.
The total white flowers, accented with baby’s breath and lots of green leaves are gorgeous. Adding beautiful white satin or taffeta ribbon to the bouquet is the perfect choice. I love the top photo of the one with the fluffy sheer ribbon on the bouquet of tulips!
The important thing to remember is that this is YOUR day and you can have whatever you like in your wedding!
Ribbon is as important at a wedding as the flowers and the cake! Adding ribbon to accessories always adds beauty to the arrangement. Some will add ribbon to the special glasses used for toasting the bride and groom with sparkling juice or champagne.
Using custom printed ribbon around the bird seed bags or bubble containers is a great way to dress up the items and give a souvenir to your guests. Your custom printed ribbon could say the bride and grooms name, or the date of the wedding, or a favorite verse. You choose what you want printed on the ribbon. There will be a lot of areas you can use this ribbon.
The same custom printed ribbon can be used when making the invitations and directions to the reception.
Wedding showers are so much fun. The bride hopes to get all the things she will need to start housekeeping with her new husband. Planning a shower can be challenging when trying to come up with new ideas for decorations.
This wedding cake made from towels is such a cute idea. You can tuck in all kinds of neat gadgets she can use in the kitchen or bathroom. If you use kitchen towels then use kitchen items, if you use bath towels, then insert items she can pamper herself with.
Using fluffy cotton towels, you can use organic or green ribbon when assembling this cute cake.
You will need:
2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths, wide green ribbon, Pearl or bead headed straight pins, or safety pins, Dowel, wooden stick or similar, Cake board, large plate or tray, Silk flowers, Small soaps or other mini bath products.

Step 1 – First take a bath towel then neatly fold it in half length-ways and then in half again. Now put this towel to one side and do the same with the second bath towel.
Step 2 – Next take one of the folded towels and, keeping the edges neatly together, tightly roll it from end to end, leaving about 6 to 8 inches unrolled at the finish.
Step 3 – Then, making sure that it’s the same way up, overlap one end of the second bath towel with the end of the first and – holding the coil very firmly – continue to roll tightly.
Step 4 – Secure the coil by pushing bead headed straight pins into the end. Alternatively use large safety pins – we found diaper pins work quite well.
Step 5 – Now repeat the above process from step 1 with the hand towels and then the washcloths. Though for these you won’t need to overlap the ends quite so much.
Step 6 – Next, with the neater folded edges facing upwards, position the coiled towels so that they look like 3 separate tiers of a wedding cake (If necessary tap the ‘cakes’ lightly to neaten).
Step 7 – Then measure the height of each tier, and add the numbers together.
Step 8 – Now cut a piece of dowel or a straight stick a little longer than this measurement.
Step 9 – Then, keeping the pinned edges at the back of the wedding towel cake, thread the dowel through the center of the tier of coiled bath towels. Then through the center of the coiled hand towel tier, followed by the washcloth tier.
Step 10 – Finally place the ‘wedding cake’ on a cake board or tray.
1. First wrap ribbon around each tier, knotting or tying the ribbon into bows at the back – where the pins are.
2. Then, attaching the item to the protruding piece of doweling, top the cake with some pretty silk flowers or something of your choice.
3. Adorn the cake by tucking small soaps, or other mini bath products, into the towel folds.
Be sure to tell the bride that you used pins so she won’t stick herself when unraveling.
Whether you are making pew bows for a wedding, or table corner decorations for a bridal shower, you can experiment with many types of ribbon in the same bow.
Using different shades of the same color along with various textures of ribbon and trim will add a very dramatic look. I love the antique look of this bow. This decorative bow consists of various types of new ribbon like taffeta ribbon, which looks antique or old. Adding contrasting black and bronze colors to accent the off white layers helps add volume to the decoration.
This type of bow would also look wonderful attached to a bridal bouquet. You can use this as a prize bow at a craft bazar. This would also look sweet on a wicker basket full of yummy goodies to welcome a new neighbor to your area.
Ribbon has many uses. Most people think of ribbon only when they are wrapping a present. Others think of ribbon when they are crafting or scrap-booking. But basic ribbon can be used all over the house in almost any room to add a gentle decorative touch or even to add the holiday “WOW” flair to your home.
Almost everyone decorates for the Christmas season and ribbon is a huge part of those decorations. But any holiday of season can be enhanced by adding ribbon to your festive decorations.
This banister would look great with just the greenery and the fall fruit. When ribbon is added to this decoration, it screams “hey, look at me”!
Any basic ribbon can be added to any fixture in your home, from lamp shades, candle sticks, vases, baskets, table cloths, fireplace mantle runners, and the list goes on and on.

A topiary is a decorative sculpture made of shrubs or other plants. They can be fun and a dramatic addition to any outdoor space and landscape.
Topiaries are also fantastically dramatic decorating tools to use at weddings. You can adjust the style to fit almost any wedding theme. You can make them in many sizes. Large topiaries will fit in an entry way or smaller individual table decorations that can also be guest favors per table.
These can be made in many different ways. One way is to make them into geometric shapes.
The spiral-shaped juniper tree is a versatile decoration that can fit in with many wedding venues, including garden parties or backyard, ballroom or restaurant weddings. For added glitz, add strings of decorative lights to the spiraled trees.
Here are two small wedding topiaries. One is arranged with small red roses, organza bow, and satin ribbon. And the second one is made from with white silk rosettes, satin ribbon bow with small flower, organza, and small pearls. These delicate and beautiful table favors and decorations for your reception are about 7″ tall.
I love this neat idea for weddings. While some are throwing rice and bird seed, others will blow bubbles some throw flower petals. But these flowing ribbon wands look magical in pictures.
They make great wedding favors too. These custom printed ribbons can say the name of the bride and groom, date of the wedding and thanks for coming to the wedding.
You can buy 15“wands at any craft store. Cut the custom printed ribbon to lengths of 26” long. The ribbon pictured is 5/8” wide. Hot glue the ribbon onto the wand and presto, instant wedding wand to wave!
Can you visualize some large vases near the door way filled with these cute ribbon wands, specifically made in all the brides colors. As the guests leave, attendants pass them out to each guest so they can eagerly wait for the newlyweds to leave for their honeymoon. As they pass by you wave a rainbow of ribbons over their heads and cheer as they hurry off to the get away car.
Leopard print ribbon and Peonies are a perfect mix of fun and elegance. I think that they are fabulous on this diaper cake. There are so many ways to make diaper cakes and I really like this way. This mom to be is obviously a unique lady who must display a balance of gentle beauty with a slightly wild fun side for her friends to create this type of table centerpiece for her baby shower.
This would be formed as the others in that you still make each layer to stand alone. One way is to roll various sized diapers to make the center of each layer. The outside layer will consist of diapers rolled and bound with a tiny rubber band, stood on end and encircled around the center roll. Use a large rubber band or thin ribbon to secure them.
The outside animal print ribbon or baby shower ribbon will hide the thin bands and the large band. Choose the flower you think she will like and cut them with at least 5 inch stems. This will allow you to poke the stem in between the diapers.
The topper is done the same way, poke a few flowers down into the middle and add some baby’s breath and a decorative toy to add the baby theme to the cake. Place it on a cake board or decorative mirror like this one. This cake is so pretty that unless you look very close, you won’t notice it is actually made from diapers.
I think it would be neat to make a real cake with white fondant icing, silk flowers, animal print ribbon, and silk flowers and have the cake be a marbled yellow and chocolate cake to mimic the leopard print ribbon. Yum.
As you prepare your wedding decorations and invitations, save some of the personalized ribbon you used for other things to decorate your wedding photo album.
My wedding photos are among the top ten things I would want to grab if I had to leave our home in a hurry. Of course family members and pets would be first but things like baby pictures and wedding pictures are near the front door and some of the things you just can’t replace if there was a fire.
As you gather things for your wedding photo album and scrapbook, you will want to include samples of your wedding napkins, invitations, some ribbon and lace and any other special embellishments you used for your special day.
These topiaries are wonderful in two ways; they look beautiful and taste great too! Generally Topiaries are sculptures made of shrubs and other plants. But they can also be made from candy like the ones in this picture.
Plan your colors, and candy, then pick out the shape you want. There are so many variations. The candy can be placed on plastic appetizer sticks or tooth picks and poked into the Styrofoam form
This will be an interesting addition to your wedding decorations for long banquet tables. Don’t forget to instruct the guests to help them self to the candy as they leave. Or you will be stuck with tons of chocolate. Is that a bad thing? It can be… I get migraines if I eat the good stuff. But if I have the migraine already, I look forward to eating some chocolate.
These would also make lovely holiday decorations. Choose holiday ribbon to make giant festive bows just below the candy.
