The little table and chairs in my daughter’s room were found a couple weeks ago at a rummage sale. When I bought them, they were in good shape but a worn orange wood stain wasn’t making the grade. So, I painted them to match the walls, but with some crackling treatment and a bit of yellow, just for added flair. I also decoupaged the top with a rose and some butterflies. Then, I made little “cushions” out of scrapbook paper, creating a tufted look, and decoupaged them as well. I made little cushion “ties” (even though they don’t need them) out of ribbon. This is probably my favorite thing in the room now! She will love it.
