Diaper cakes have come a long way from when they first became popular. This is a perfect example of how creative planning and a themed baby shower can produce this amazing centerpiece.
Obviously the gift is in the over 60 diapers you don’t see because they are wrapped in the hot pink receiving blankets and decorated with animal print ribbon. Matching hair bows have been made from the same ribbon.
This design could easily be made with the bottom two tiers constructed completely from diapers of various sizes. The top layer can be a round box that holds lots of baby items like pacifiers, wipes, clippers, travel size soaps and powders, bibs, and such. This cake topper is covered by baby hat with lots of hair bows. The cake topper is cute roses made from rolled up baby socks and hair bows.
The fun part of this pink and black cake is knowing that the mommy to be is having a girl so you can personalize this cake specifically for her. Of course, this would also be great to use for a shower given after the baby arrives. Mom will have fun un-wrapping this great looking cake.
