St. Patrick’s Day is in March.  I don’t even own anything green!  We always just get some St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock printed holiday ribbon and put hair bows in the girls hair to keep them from getting pinched in school for not wearing green.  If you don’t want to wear the ribbon in your hair, you can just cut about 3 inches of the ribbon and make a loop like the awareness ribbons, use a small gold safety pin to attach it to your shirt or collar.  Then when some well meaning jester pops up and says ,, “hey, wheres your green”,, you can just proudly display your green ribbon.  We have also used printed ribbon like this for shoe strings.
