Do you enjoy cake decorating? I love to decorate cakes. I have never worked with fondant though. As I was scanning though some pictures, I found this sweet cake. This cake could be for a birthday or baby shower or any party you choose. It definitely says “Let’s Celebrate”.
If I were making the cake I probably would not attempt to make the curly ribbon from fondant. I would use decorative curling ribbon in accent colors to the theme of the cake. I would also use actual ribbon for the bow on top. 
Baby shower ribbon would look great to use for the bow on top and the stripes on the sides.
Use pastel curling ribbon that you have attached to tooth picks or skewers, or straws to poke down into the cake. They will be easy to remove. The other ribbon will be easily held on by the icing. You could use a tooth pick to hold them in place at the top if you choose.
