Labor Day is an American Federal Holiday observed on the first Monday in September. The holiday is usually celebrated as the last summer event. Many will have large family BBQs. Some just have small gatherings with friends boating, camping and enjoying the great weather.

This cute way of anchoring a table cloth for a picnic is so creative. Fall weather is usually breezy. These lovely tiny buckets will act as anchors. Fill them with wild flowers and about an inch of water. Tie thin ribbon around the handle and the other end to a plastic clip or clothes pin. No need to put bouquets’ of flowers on the table, they will be decorating the corners of the table. You can use patriotic thin ribbon colors to celebrate Labor Day, the 4th of July, or Memorial Day.
