When my granddaughter comes over to the house, she is so full of energy. It makes me so happy to see her run around the house. I feel like I have done something right. My daughter has created such a wonderful bundle of joy.
I usually have some discount craft supplies waiting around the house for her to take a look at. She makes quite the mess but I really like the artwork that she creates. One day, I’m going to be brave enough to bring out some paints.

My daughter’s graduation was a very special moment in my life. She was finally doing it, getting out there and being the type of person that I knew that she would always become. This day was in the making since the day that she was born and now that it is finally here, I want to remember every moment of it that I possibly can.
Her graduation tassel still hangs in her room above her bedroom mirror so that her memories are preserved for her so that when she comes home she can see a huge part of her life. I am so proud of my little girl!

The creative impulse is in all human beings. Even the sluggish beer-drinking sports-obsessed individual has the inner qualities of an artist. The only thing about this situation is that the artist inside of this particular person has been starved for any sort of artistic interaction. This artist, like a child, needs to be nurtured and well-maintained in order to grow and flourish.
Having craft supplies handy in a home can assist in this transformation. When a material is present and there is easy access to it, then it is more likely to be used. Maybe not today or even the next, but one day while passing the easel and paints gathering dust in the corner of a room, that impulse will take over and the latent creative impulse in us all will take over and the person will have an opportunity to truly express inner emotions that may go deeper than expected. Probe that inner you that is dying to get out.
